Ryozo Yada (Japanese: 矢田亮蔵) is the manager of the freight handling division of Alpha Trading Office at the New Yokosuka Harbour District. He only recently transferred to the harbour, leaving his wife and children behind in Niigata. Because of this, it seems, he becomes increasingly ill-tempered as the week draws on which causes those working under him to be nervous around him. However, he is always happiest on Fridays as that is when he gets to return to his family for the weekend.
